My aunty Iwa's Give-a-little page for Holistic/Natural Medicine Costs
Manawatu / Whanganui
My name is Mary Hetet. I have started this give-a-little page to help my Aunty - Iwa Hetet - whom is in the profile picture adorned with her Moko-Kauae (Chin tattoo) & her with her bestie Claire.
Since being diagnosed with bronchitis as a child, she has suffered from numerous respiratory complications which, with age, have progressed to the last stages of Emphysema. While battling this she has also been diagnosed with the following heart complications: Pulmonary Hypertension Obstruction & Tri-cuspid Regurgitation. This affects the rate at which oxygen is dispersed to the body, in other words her heart is not working as it should; and the lack of oxygen is causing breathlessness, chest pain and dizzy spells. Trust me its horrible to see one of your whanaunga (relations) suffer from this.
After years of mainstream medicine and exhausting the last anti-biotic she can, she has for the past couple of years tried to stick only to holistic healing, unless absolutely necessary. But now as she has been diagnosed as terminal the time has come for an end completely to western medicine. She has been released from the New Zealand Health Care and is now under the ward of Arohanui Hospice.
We as a Whanau thank you for your kind contributions.
She is my Aunty and I want to help her have a better quality of life as best she can, after she received news her condition was terminal.
To maximise her quality of life, she has come up with her own health regime and wishes to acquire:
1 Kangen Water Machine $4,500 au + shipping fees
Holistic Therapist & Therapeutic supplies $2600 Approx
Orthopedic bed $2000+
Other Medicinal costs
The target is $10,000
Any remaining funds she wishes to donate to Arohanui Hospice Palmerston North for her palliative care
Thank You 23 January 2019
It is with great sadness that one week ago our beloved Aunty passed away. I would like to take the time to thank each and every one of those that helped to try and achieve some sort of comfort and financial support to help her gain a better quality of life.
Tho only used for a short period of time we started purchasing items that helped do just this. Kindly a family member offered to front funds for items that aunty Iwa required. These funds will be used to reimburse them as well as a donation will be made to the Arohanui Hospice.
The remaining balance will be given to the whanau to go towards funeral costs and such.
Again I thank you all. Arohanui Mary x
