Izzy’s Fundraising for the Sarcoma Foundation New Zealand

I’m turning 21 this month and would love to use this time as an opportunity to raise awareness and money for a foundation that has recently become a big part of my life.

The Sarcoma Foundation is a charity set up to support patients and whanau dealing with a diagnosis of sarcoma. I am currently fighting an osteosarcoma and have felt very supported by the Sarcoma Foundation - and many others - throughout my journey. I would love to give back to this charity that works to raise awareness for this type of cancer and encourages further research into the rare condition sarcoma is.

I have learned the importance of early detection of this type of cancer and how it can change someone’s journey drastically. I’d love to make a difference and help the Sarcoma Foundation to help others like me.
