I love cycling and want to go as far as possible in the sport and to achieve my goal of becoming a World Tour Cyclist. In February 2023 I have been successful in gaining an 8 -month riding contract for the Zappi Racing Team based in Italy, and currently competing weekly in the Italian National Elite and Under 23 events across Italy. This will my first year in the U23 age group and an unpaid contract, and I need to self-fund for the 8 months. The cost of the season is NZ$35,000 plus food. The Team will also be racing at UCI events across Europe.

A bit about me, I am 18 years old and live in Ohauiti Tauranga, during and since leaving School in 2022 I have been working for Evo Bikes Mount Maunganui. I have been competing at a national level for Road and Track cycling for the last 6 years throughout New Zealand. In 2022, I was selected for the New Zealand U19 Road Team to race in Canada in a UCI Junior World race series.
Seeking to raise funds for the 2023 racing season in Italy and any support towards this would be greatly appreciated.
