  • New Beginnings for Jack and Sally-Anne

    I would like to thank each and every generous donor who assisted Sally-Anne and Jack's fundraising efforts towards his medications costs. Sally-Anne and Jack are about to embark on new beginnings in Takaka where Sally-Anne will begin her new job soon. With the recent sale of their home to support their new journey I will be closing this fundraiser. Again I would like to thank everyone for their support and wish Jack and Sally-Anne all the best in their new life in Takaka.

  • A grateful thanks. Progress is made!

    Jack had his 5th injection today . So pleased this miracle drug is working to fight his cancer with a 50% reducton in tumors. Sally-Anne sent this message:

    So glad we have fund raised a lot of the money through friends, family and our community we thank every one who have supported us . Down side, today , thinking that we will can get on the cost patient programme by the 6th injection in 3 weeks time , We have just been told we have to pay for the 9th injection before being put on the programme . So far we have paid $50,700 for the drug and $9000 in GST and admin .All the GST and admin fees are not included in the patient cost programme which would have bought our total paid so far $59,700. Still another $25,350 to pay.

    We have secured most of that but still need to raise $9500 before December 28th. Please keep sharing the Givealittle page.

  • Treatment for Jack

    We are excited with the pledge from the Keytruda drug company who has advised that if we can raise a further $20000-00 for Jack's trreatment they will then fund ongoing treatment thereafter as a trial.

    This is exciting for both Jack's future as well as others with similar cancers and Lynch Syndrome.
