Hi my name is Jacky, and this year I have been chosen to represent New Zealand for badminton in Indonesia for the World Junior Championships. I am currently 17 and attending Epsom Girls Grammar School.
I started playing badminton when I was 8 years old and represented Auckland at the age of 10. Since then I have received 3 national titles, which includes u13, u15 and u17 girls doubles. Earlier this year I represented New Zealand in New Caledonia for the Oceania Junior Championships which we came back with a gold medal.
I am hoping to continue playing badminton in the future, but to do so I will require your help. Thank you :)
Use of funds
Funds raised will be going towards my 3 week trip in Indonesia. This includes flights, accommodation, food and a training camp. I am leaving on the 26th of September and will be coming back on 20th of October.
