Kia ora everyone,

On Wednesday 20th July, our beloved Jacobson Joseph Fitzsimmons passed away suddenly.

He is the dearly loved son of Stephen and Bengene, brother of Denholm, Jersey-John, Diante, Chelsea and Aaliah, father of Asher, uncle of Maraea and Reuben, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Jacobson was born in New Zealand and is of Maori descent, therefore, the family would like to do right by Jacobson and bring him home to his whenua.

I will never be lost for I am a seed sown from Rangiātea

A seed is forever linked to its past and future generations, so it can never be lost. It has come from somewhere and something before it, so it has roots even before it grows them.

Rangiatea is the beginning and the end, therefore, a seed is never lost because it returns to where it was sown.

Jacobson had a heart for God, and a desire that all his loved ones would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We have the confidence that he is resting in God's arms.

My name is Maryann and I am Jacobson's cousin on his father Stephen's side of the family.

Use of funds

The money will go towards bringing our beautiful Jacobson home from Sydney to Auckland, New Zealand and giving him the beautiful send off he deserves. It will also go towards flights for his mother, Bengene and brother Jersey, to come with him.
