The money raised will go towards my share of the costs involved in representing NZ in the U21 regattas in Australia and NZ $3000.

On the 6th of May this year I was fortunate enough to be named in the U21 Lw double. I will be training and racing with my doubles partner Jordan Gasson. Our first regatta is in Penrith in about 6weeks. We will be racing there against the Australians. I will race 6 races over the three day regatta. The double the first day, a quad the second and an eight the final day. The second regatta will be held here in NZ at Lake Karapiro in August.
The U21 team accumulates points for places over the two regattas and both teams compete for the Rusty Robinson Trophy. Unfortunately the trophy’s been with Australia the last few years. Hopefully this year we’ll change this.
This campaign like any other has costs such as accommodation for the camps that are prior to the two regattas and flights to Aussie and back.
While training full time here in Waikato I’m also attending Waikato University. I’m studying second year civil engineering. It’s a challenging course that I’m enjoying so far.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your donation 🙂
