      Hi there,

Best of luck for this week! We are thinking of you all. Can you tell Steve and Annabelle that I am happy to be the wheels on wheels girl for them. Vivace is so close to the hospital and if they are up there visiting and would like some dinner brought up at any stage they can just call me - it would be nice to be able to do something to help a little bit. They can look at the menu on-line and I can swing past and call them when I am downstairs with dinner xx

  • Treatment is about to start...

      15 September 2016

    Hi everyone...

After a couple of busy weeks of medical tests and treatment Janine is readying herself for this Sunday 18th September...

On this day she will be admitted to Motutapu ward at Auckland hospital. She will start her 6 day intensive chemotherapy treatment immediately...

Upon completion of her chemo she will receive her transplant from her Australian donor.

The donor has been named 'Ned Kelly'...we can only hope that this likeable, brave , rogue Australian can do his absolute best to heal Janine's body...

Janine is going to need to draw on her amazing ' inner Blenheim mongrel' to fight this battle with him...go the ANZACS :-)

Janine is expected to be in hospital for atleast 6-8 weeks..please keep up the support via facebook, texts and emails.

    Will be in touch xxx

  • Progress on Janine

      4 September 2016

    Hi everyone

It is with immense relief that we can announce that a donor has been found for Janine.

The donor is from Australia...if anyone can come up with a suitable Aussie hero name for him that would be great :-)

Chemotherapy treatment is expected to start on the 18th Sept.

Its been a pretty emotional and busy weekend for Janine...

We have packed up the family house on Waiheke so that it can be rented out for the next year.

This week we will pack up their belongings in the motel and they will finish working there.Janine and family will house sit for the next couple of weeks.( Unfortunately the rental property they have organised will probably not be ready before her hospital admission)

Janine and family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the young man who has made her ongoing treatment possible. She would also like to thank everyone for their amazing support over the last few months...everything from meals, transport, kind words and messages, help with logistics, assistance with running the motel, finding new accommodation, financial and legal advice and also the 'Give a Little' donations...you are all amazing! Janine feels incredibly supported and loved :-)

Will be in touch soon xxx
