Please help Janine

Janine Shepherd (nee Hall) is 47 years old and was diagnosed with a rare form of bone marrow cancer in March 2016. She is currently waiting to start chemotherapy then will then be given a stem cell transplant. (an international donor has been found).

Janine has many months of treatment ahead of her. She has already had to give up her part time job tutoring at AUT due to fatigue and shortness of breath.

She is still continuing to manage the motel on Jervois Road (with her partner Steve), they live there with Janine's 12 year old daughter Anabelle and their dog Cooper. Janine and her family have a very long journey ahead of them.

As her friends and family we would like to support her with the additional costs of a lengthy hospital stay and the possibility of having to give up their current work and accommodation.

We know that people all over New Zealand would like to support Janine through this difficult time so we would appreciate any help you can give...
