Jared's road to the World Champs

With placing fourth in my age at the World Age Group Championships last year in Rotterdam, it has only given me more drive and determination to better my already successful career in the sport of Triathlon.

After another year of sheer determination and hard work training I feel I have more knowledge which has lead me to be more focused on my end goal of placing first at the Gold Coast event and bringing that gold medal home.

My cabinet is forever filling with trophies and medals with having defended my title at the ever-growing triathlon in my home-town of Timaru and also coming 2nd non-professional to make it home in the half ironman event at Challenge Wanaka.

I have had a small break whilst on a well deserved holiday with my family of now four not long after my wife and I welcomed our second child, and I am even more ready to make them proud of me and bring that gold home.

Please help me fulfill this dream, I believe I have grown substantially in both knowledge and strength and know I can do this.
