It's all or nothing for Tazz and Jas, Their last chance with their final embabies and our chance to help make their baby dream come true!!
Auckland
Tarryn and Jasper is one amazing couple with hearts of gold. They are always the first to try help others and It is now our turn to help them out. Tarryn is the baby whisperer with any and every baby and for her and Jasper to have their own bundle of joy would be the final piece to complete their family. Above all Tarryn and Jasper are made to be parents and deserve their own little mini to love. They thought they had more time up their sleeves but with the cost of the last procedures due to massively increase from April they need our help to raise some of the funds immediately.
Tarryn and Jasper have been trying to have a baby together for the last 4 years. The journey has been a tough one, especially since discovering they were categorised as having “unexplained infertility” and needed some assistance to help their dream come true. After multiple failed medicated/assisted cycles, the decision was made that IVF would be their only hope.
After stims/hormone injections, scans, medication etc they were ecstatic to hear that they had 5 beautiful, healthy embryos! Sadly each time they tried to put one of these “embabies” back the results were not what they had hoped for and they have still not successfully added to their beautiful little family. After their second transfer the decision was made to do a bit more investigating and after a small surgery, a biopsy revealed a condition in Tarryn’s uterus which was preventing her lining from being prepared to create a cushy home for a little baby. She has since been treated and given the all clear and went on to transfer their third embryo however this too was unsuccessful.
They have two embryos left and along with their doctors have decided to transfer these both at the same time, this is largely due to the cost and trying to save some money (they have spent tens of thousands of dollars on treatment so far with the help of their generous families) and also to put a finish line in place, as I am sure you can imagine the toll it has taken on them both going through this journey the last few years.
We have been close friends for several years and I now consider them part of our family.
Base line cost of $3000 for the manufactured cycle and embryo transfer procedure, however there are a couple of additional treatments (Intralipid infusion and PRP) which would greatly increase their chance of success.
