after chemo
15 September 2015Jason spoke with doctors in wellington and heres what happened.. "Been down in Wellington hospital this morning had a meeting with the bone transplant doctor looks like we will be doing the transplant as the chemo will stop the cancer for now but will probably come back again in 20 years time but if we take the transplant it has a 99.9% chance of stopping the cancer for good but there are a lot of risks my body could fight it and make me very sick could get skin rash all over and will look like I've been burnt by fire some organs could stop working and a 20% chance that I could die about 1 in 5 die. But the doctor said I'm fit and healthy got past the first round of chemo easy as and I'm staying positive about the hole thing he said that will make the hole thing so much easier for me and my body and should fly though it easy as if we go ahead with it have to do the second round of chemo and then we will go from there. If it's a go it will be 3 months in hospital down in Wellington hospital and I must say what a maze that place is lol. But if I stay positive should be able to get out a lot earlier. But yer I've got this will do it for me family and friends and my 2 little girls and of course Michelle"
