Jay's Lifesaving Breast Reduction

Jay is my 17 year old teenager. They love cats, dinosaurs, sharks, Roblox, Warrior Cats, Genshin Impact, Gameplay Video creating and their bed!! Jay started developing breasts at 8 years old and now is considered to have Gigantomastia, a rare form of extreme breast growth. Jay has for several years had a breast size over a G cup with a size 12 to 14 body.

This has caused extreme back and neck pain, breathing difficulties, inability to wear bras due to skin issues and the pressure placed on Jay's shoulders. Jay has found socializing extremely hard. Doing any activity causes pain and the stigma of large breasts causing embarrassment and withdrawal. This leads to extremely low mental health and suicidal thoughts.

We are aiming to get Jay breast reduction surgery in November this year (2026). We are not financially well off but we plan to personally raise close to $6000 and are able to access Regular Care Southern cross funding of $15000 (this includes the specialist consults on top of surgery) but for Jay's surgery the cost is estimated to be around $25000 to $30000 due to size. We have to go private as the public system won't even acknowledge Jay's application and be put on a waitlist even though they have said Jay meets the criteria. They simply don't have the funding for this surgery in public system.

We would dearly love to try and raise an extra $5000 on this page to support us with the cost of surgery. All funds will go into a savings account dedicated to Jay's surgery.
