Jed had an amputation two weeks ago and is doing well. He was looked after so well by the vet's and nurses in Auckland and then spent a week with good friends before we could bring him home. He is walking well and I will get a video of him moving and post it soon. In the meantime here is a video of a pain free Jed. Thanks once again for all the donations. Your support has helped us finance his operation and allowed him to get on with his doggy life!

      30 June 2020

Jed has been dropped off this morning for surgery to remove his leg. It's been a heartbreaking decision but we know this will improve his quality of life. We will let you know how he recovers and send a photo once he heals. Thanks to all the lovely donors. 😊

  • Next steps for Jed

      15 June 2020

We have been consulting with specialists and have after considerable thought come to the hard decision to remove Jed's leg. This will be taken place at the end of June and your donations will go towards this operation. We believe this is the best option for him and will ensure he is no longer in pain. It's been a tough year for our whole family and we want to thank all those amazing donors out there for your support. It's nice to know there are so many lovely, generous people out there and we won't forget your help.

This was for painkillers which he regularly has to take to get through his day ..

  • Walking is tough

This is as good as it gets for Jed on 4 legs. If he tucks up the bad leg he can move faster.
