Jedda’s unfunded fight for life
After giving birth recently Jedda has been diagnosed with Stage IV Colorectal cancer

What should be the happiest days of Jedda’s life right now having given birth to her 2nd son 10 weeks ago, has been shattered with the recent undetected diagnosis of Stage IV Colorectal cancer with liver metastases. Jedda aged 30, has been given a prognosis of 6-12 months without treatment. Right now they are facing the unknown and scary road ahead and having to reset their focus as they prepare to fight this diagnosis head on.
Jedda has started chemo this week and needs access to the unfunded drug of ‘Cetuximab’ which will hopefully give her the chance to spend more time with her partner and two young sons and will help continue her ongoing battle to extend her life. Sadly this drug comes at a cost of $7,000 per treatment and in Jedda’s case is administered every fortnight.
Jack her partner, has left his job to look after their two young children and support Jedda through this journey. We are fundraising to help alleviate the stress that they have been confronted with.
With many of their family and friends living far and wide, we all feel quite powerless to help. Gathering funds is one practical way we can offer support – so anything you can spare whether its $5 or $50 at this time would be hugely appreciated.
The money that is fund-raised is primarily for non-funded drugs and to get her through life.

• Alternative cancer treatment and retreat costs in Mexico
• Medical support and supplements during her stay
