A previous Beijing 2008 Paralympican, and also Silver medalist in the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games competing again for NZ, after a break to focus on other commitments.

She now is determined to medal in 2015 IPC Athletics Championships held in Doha, Qatar, competing in F34 Shotput in October.

In May 2015 at the 2015 Oceania Championships in Cairns, Jess gained a B Qualifier under the Athletics NZ Qualifying standards gaining a current #2 Ranking on the 2015 IPC Athletics Ranking list.

The trip will cost over $10,000 all together and also extra training costs to attend camps and purchase equipment.
