    Have just received an email from Robinson Memorial with a picture attached, to confirm installation of the plaque. I also stopped at the florist on Tuesday and ordered 3 dozen of grandads favourite flower, tulips, as well as a few roses for great grandma Rose 😊 thank you again to everyone who helped us make this happen. Grandads anniversary is this Monday, 30th April and we will have a small gathering at the gravesite in remembrance 🧡

  • Plaque in Production

    Thanks to the quick action of the powers that be at Give-a-Little, they released the funds early to allow me to pay for the plaque in full today. The memorial company has now confirmed it will be installed and covered, ready for an unveiling on 30/04/2018 ❤️

    Of course the biggest thank you has to go to Shaun who says he’s just returning the kindness grandad showed him many a time ❤️

    But every cent 100% counts and I do not wish to discount anyone’s donation, the struggle is real for us all and so for each and every one of you, from my amazing super-mum network to the fantastic community of Kaukapakapa and beyond, to take time out of your day (and hard-earned money out of your accounts), I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Lastly, to everyone who read my Facebook posts or this Give-a-Little page, I hope the thought of my grandad Jim brought a smile to your face and a good memory to mind (I also welcome you to share those memories as I LOVE hearing/reading them!)

    As I hadn’t even yet made my own “donation” to the page, you can rest assured my money will be spent on bunches and bunches of tulips - grandads favourite (or, at least the only flower I ever heard him mention!!), and a few roses for great-grandma Rose with whom he’s buried 😊💕❤️
