Fundraising to support Bronte who has been chosen to represent the New Zealand Top Team at the Jiu Jitsu Worlds in LA in October 2018
Auckland
Bronte is 11 years old and has been training in Jiu Jitsu for coming up three years and has recently gained her Yellow/White belt. During this time she has won several NZ Championships in both Gi and No Gi tournaments. Bronte has recently been selected to represent the NZ Top Team under Sorriso BJJ Club at the Jiu Jitsu Worlds in Los Angeles in October 2018.
This is a huge opportunity for Bronte who will also get the opportunity to train at Cobrinha's HeadQuarters in LA in a two week camp prior to the Worlds.
She has been training like a warrior with her Head Coach at Sorriso BJJ (Paulo Sorriso) and will continue to amp up her daily training schedule as we get closer to the competition date. She loves this sport so much and her passion and dedication is second to none. This journey requires her to sacrifice a lot to enable her train and focus herself fully to jiu jitsu in the hope of achieving her dream of becoming a World Champ.
Unfortunately at this time there are no sponsors and we are looking to fundraise to ensure we can get to LA to allow her to train in camp and fight in both the Gi and No Gi Divisions.
It is a very costly trip, finances are extremely tight, so we would really appreciate any support. Every little bit counts.
Thank you
I am Bronte's mother and I am looking to fundraise for her after being selected to represent the NZ Top Team at the World Jiu Jitsu Tournament which is being held in Los Angeles in October 2018
The money will be used for return economy airfares, Two Week Training Camp cost, travel/living expenses for three weeks in LA and World Tournament application costs.
