Joe Hanks - Central Districts Hockey NHL

As the captain of the Central Districts National Hockey League side that is representing at the Hockey NZ event, it is a fantastic opportunity to play some of the best players in New Zealand at hockey. Central Districts is one of eight sides to play at the tournament.

The financial costs of attending one of these tournaments is self funded by the players themselves. A lot of training and time goes into competing at this tournament. With a little bit of help funding this tournament, it will give myself and the team an opportunity to compete on the national stage.
