Become a Whanganui Women's Network Her-O! Make a donation and become part of our League of Her-oes, supporting the work we do so that local women can thrive.

The Women's Network is unique in Whanganui as the only drop-in service for women of all ages and stages. We've been active for over 30 years doing what we do best. Each year we process around 5000 enquiries. With our current level of funding, that means we only receive around $10 for each enquiry we process. That's a huge effort for an organisation with one employee and an amazing team of volunteers. We cheerlead for women experiencing all the challenges and change that life brings, including: domestic violence, relationship issues, career change, parenting, personal confidence, and tackling barriers to self-fulfilment. Women love the guidance that we offer because it is personally tailored to their unique situation, and it's unlimited. There's nothing else like it. And we run a bunch of other activities and events that the community benefits from too.

We are a registered charity, and rely on the support of our community to fund our projects and services. Grant funding provides around 70% of what we need to deliver. We need your help with the remaining 30%. All funds raised stays locally and goes directly toward assisting women right here, right now. And that's great for everyone.
