Join Us in Empowering Te Ramanui: Fundraising for His Car!

Christchurch, Canterbury

We're thrilled to invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference in the life of Te Ramanui, a vibrant soul at 28, passionate about music, community service, and nature. He shines brightly in all he does, volunteering at Christchurch Public Hospital and Charity hospital while running his DJ business, DJ Ramanui, with steadfast support from his mentor.

Recent funding changes pose a challenge as Te Ramanui's support workers can no longer use their vehicles, hindering his ability to fully embrace his passions and independence. Grounded and facing logistical hurdles to transport his DJ gear to events, he needs our help.

Together, we can make a difference. We're rallying to raise funds for Te Ramanui to purchase his own car – granting him the freedom to explore nature and facilitate his DJ gigs, sharing his love for music with even more people.

Join us for a series of exciting events, from live music performances to themed parties, offering something for everyone to enjoy and support.

Here's how you can contribute:

Attend our events: Keep an eye out on our socials

Spread the word: Let your friends and family know

Donate: Koha

Let's empower Te Ramanui to live life to the fullest, with the freedom and independence he deserves. Thank you for your generosity and support – we couldn't do this without you.

Use of funds

Raising funds for Te Ramanui to purchase his very own car – a vehicle will be branded to facilitate his DJ gigs, allowing him to share his infectious love for music with even more people.

No matter how much is raised even if we don’t make target by December all proceeds will still go towards a car.

Only a Month to Go! 🌟  29 October 2024

5th Fundraising Challenge: Te Smashes the CrossFit Circuit!

With just a month left, our 5th challenge kicked off early with an intense CrossFit circuit! My sister Maria arranged this challenge, and we both dove into the workout, excited to push our limits.

The circuit included:

5 shuttle runs

10 sit-ups

20 step-ups

40 seconds on the bike

5 burpees

40 seconds of skipping

30 seconds on the rowing machine

We repeated this four times, with a 2-minute rest in between. It was tough, but I powered through every round, fueled by the support of everyone cheering me on. All that training paid off, and it was a proud moment as I checked off another challenge!

A huge thanks to Haven Community for having me!

This halfway point in my journey feels amazing, and every challenge is bringing us closer to our goal. If you’re following along, please pop over to my Givealittle page to support my efforts!
