I have been selected in the Temperzone Junior Blacksox team heading to Michigan, USA in July for the Under 19 junior softball world series
Auckland
Kia Ora my name is Jordan Tahana. I am of Tainui descent and I am a year 13 student attending Mount Roskill Grammar School. As a 17 year old my interests are vast and varied. These include soccer, where I played Goal Keeper for Three Kings United in the 17 Metro division last year, U19 Basketball for my school and Softball For my Club Eden Roskill - Premier Men and Reserves and I was a member of the U19 Auckland team which won the National Tournament this year. Last year I was selected to join the Junior Black Sox wider training group, A group of 36 young men with the aim of up skilling via training camps and attending selected tournaments throughout the year. The ultimate goal is to attend the WBSC-SD Under 19 Men’s World Softball Championships in Michigan, USA this July.
It is my honour and privilege to have been selected as a member of The Temperzone Junior Black Sox to attend these Championships.
As an aspiring softballer it is always a dream to represent your country and attending these championships would be a dream come true.
But with this amazing opportunity comes great expense and I have started this page to raise funds and to help my parents alleviate the cost towards this trip
If you could help in anyway, by donating or just giving me a shout out I would be very grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, much love. Jordan.
