Jorgia Walks New Zealand for Lifeline

Kia Ora, I’m Jorgia a 23 year old from Ōtautahi figuring life out one step at a time all while walking the length of our beautiful country to challenge myself and raise awareness for something that matters deeply to me.

Walking the full length of Aotearoa, 3,000 kilometres from Cape Reinga to Bluff on foot. Over five months, I’ll be tackling the Te Araroa Trail, hiking through beaches, forests, mountains, rivers, mud (so much mud), and moments of total discomfort all while carrying my life on my back.

I’m doing this not just for the adventure, but to raise awareness and funds for adult mental health. A struggle faced quietly by so many around us.

I’m hoping to raise $3,000 one dollar for every kilometre I walk for Lifeline Aotearoa, a service that helps thousands of Kiwis in crisis every year.

This journey is about proving that even when things feel impossible, we can still keep moving one wobbly step at a time.

I’d love your support, whether that’s following along, donating a few dollars, or just checking in, it all counts.

Remember whatever trail you're on, you're not walking alone

Much Love

Jorgia xx

700km in 🎉  19 November 2025

700km down! Currently heading out of Hamilton and feeling incredibly grateful for all the support so far. Every message and donation keeps me moving. Thank you for helping me raise awareness for mental health👏🏼

This trail has been wild, emotional, muddy, pushing me out of my comfort zone and meeting some amazing people along the way, and absolutely worth every step.

Bring on the next section I’ve got the timber trail, Mt Pirongia and the Whanganui river in the near future ahead of me

Thanks again everybody 🫶🏼🥾🐄
