we stay at the Ronald mcdonald house but supply our own food, my boy has lost a lot of weight and no longer fits clothing. We have no income while in Auckland and all funds raised will be going towards clothing, bills that have been put in hold while no income has come in etc..

    Update on my soldier.

Joseph has enjoyed spending time with nana, poppa an Emily.

He is a pretty demanding an hard patient 😂

Had to get the nurses to push back in his nasal tube as it came out slightly. He doesn't like medicine down the tube an screams when we do it, just wish he would take it via mouth.

Re doing his bandage on his arm also became a screaming match.

I'm hurting that cancer struck my little guy. My happy go lucky child. This is all a huge learning process for me and Doug and it certainly ain't going to be easy.

Update on this little soldier. Doctors are very impressed with the way Joseph and his body is dealing with everything. Took Joseph down to the cafe this morning and he ate a bowl of wedges and a American hotdog. Doug an I have learnt how to insert his medicine through the tube. Tomorrow morning we are getting discharged down to the Ronald mcdonald house. I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared. Absolutely terrified of doing this away from the hospital but I'm right here and I know in surrounded with lots of support and mum Noeline Steiner can help me. I love you my boy. F#ck cancer!!!

Well today was not as bad as I expected. Joseph went into theatre this morning to have chemo into his spine. At 11 he then had chemo into his iv. When he came out, he got up and had a good feed of shapes lol. Doctors have not seen a kid act this way, your super son. Joseph also had a nasal gastric tube put in to have his medicine that is crucial because he refuses to take it orally. He got to see the therapy dogs that came to the ward for the first time as last time he was in isolation. At 4 we were allowed out of the ward an we took him to the cafe and he ate a bowl of wedges. An then went down to the Ronald mcdonald house an he played for a little bit. He felt tired so we bought him up to the ward and he had the play specialist come in and he had fun playing for a while. Joseph had a x ray also done on his chest and the mass has gone!!! Your a trooper my boy. Xx

    Update.

Well today has being a much better day than yesterday. His oxygen levels have stabilized, he has not required a breathing mask today. His white blood count has dropped so yay!! His calcium level has raised which is awesome. An all other levels are returning to normal. An what has made me happy is that his leaukemia cells are dying!! They have dropped dramatically overnight an that was just after one case of chemo. He had a second dose of chemo today. He is very weak so tryed to get him to walk today but was not too keen. So something we will work on. F#ck cancer!! You will not hurt my family. An you definitely will not beat my son.

An update of my wee little soldier. His lumbar puncture and bone marrow went well. Joseph is fighting t cell ALL leaukemia. He has being in bed all day today and hoping to get him up moving tommorow. He has started steriouds tonight which is apart of his chemo which starts in the morning. Joseph has vommited once today and is very fragile. He is certainly keeping those nurses on their toes and he has stolen their hearts with his awesome personality. Follow this journey because our family don't give up. We fight and fight till the very end. And Joseph will be back on that sport field showing the world his talent in no time!!
