Josh Tonga is an 18yr old boxer from A Town Boxing gym in Aranui Christchurch who is 4 x New Zealand Champion winning best boxer award at his last nationals. 2023 and 2024 Oceiana youth 80kg champion awarded best boxer at both championships. Josh has recently returned from IBA Youth World Championships Montenegro. Winning 4 bouts to be first Kiwi boxer in history to win a medal at IBA Youth Worlds. Josh achieved this even though he is a victim of boxing politics that stopped him competiting in New Zealand 11 months prior to his world championships. Josh needs financial support to prepare for and attend future international opportunities.
Use of funds
To attend training camps and competitions.
