My friend Karen had her car broken into and her daughters' clothes, chrome book, hairdryer, and hair straighteners were taken.

Auckland

Last week I read a facebook message from one of my friends, Karen. She was posting on a community page asking people to take caution as while she and her daughter were at the movies someone had broken into her car and stolen some things.

Most of the things were her daughter Lucy's. They stole a hairdryer, hair straighteners, an Acer chrome book and some clothes that were sentimental.

Unfortunately, they didn't have any insurance. Karen is a student and a single mother. Doing our social work course together I have heard of the struggles that Karen has had and I thought it would be nice to try and raise a little money to replace the things that have been lost.

Karen is always giving to others so it would be nice to give back to her and Lucy.
