Help make a young dancer's dream come true!

Kaelani is 18 years old. She has been dancing for 14 years, dancing Hip Hop competitively for 4 years, and has been teaching dance for 3 years. Kaelani has recently graduated from Papanui High School achieving NCEA Level 1, 2, and 3 with Excellence in Dance. She has always made the most of all opportunities such as dance, sports, performing arts, and has received numerous awards by succeeding in all of these at a high level. Kaelani now wishes to pursue her dream in becoming a professional dancer.

Recently Kaelani has been given an opportunity of a life time to dance for an Auckland dance studio who travel and compete worldwide. This dance studio has competed at the World Hip Hop Championships (in Las Vegas) and have won 3 years in a row making them World Hip Hop champions. This year in July/August they will be competing at the World Hip Hop competition in San Diego. Their dance crew have also become back up dancers for International singer Jennifer Lopez and Missy Elliot.

To enable Kaelani to fulfill her dreams by taking on this opportunity, involves her permanently moving cities on her own, setting up a new life, travel costs when competing in dance competitions overseas, individual dance fee costs, but mostly sacrificing leaving behind her family and friends.
