Kia ora, its been a devastating week trying to come to terms with the loss of our son, mokopuna, nephew, cousin and friend.
Kaiaha John Mason Mahutu Skipwith
Sadly passed away in his sleep on Tuesday 14th March 2023 at the young age of 17.
Son of Vylet Mahutu Richards and Rangitihi Skipwith.
Mokopuna of Maria Rose Mahutu, Ian Douglas Down Moroney and Johnnie Richards. The late Robert Skipwith and Waimirirangi Otene Skipwith.
And Great mokopuna of our Nannynanny Elizabeth Mahutu Koti.
To anyone who knew Kaiaha, you would know he was like a big cuddly teddy bear. Beautiful, kind and the most generous young man. He would always look out for everyone around him, putting others needs first before his own. A selfless young man taken way too soon.
As you can imagine, Kaiahas family and friends have been left with a gaping hole in their hearts and are now left to deal with the loss of their beautiful boy.
Kaiaha’s family would love to bring him back to his hometown of Brisbane. I have set up this koha page in hopes of relieving some financial stress for his family and to help them as they navigate their way through this heartbreaking time. All koha raised will go directly to Kaiaha’s family.
“You never really get over the loss of a loved one, but with the right love and support we can help each other get through it.”
Cousin of Kaiaha
