HELP!!! Roxy is in unexpected early retirement.

We are a not-for-profit organisation who are based in Pukekohe, Auckland. We uregently require help with funding a wheelchair van.

Auckland

We are the only service in this area that supports young adults and children with high and complex needs. Our van Roxy has unexpectedly died. We have no choice, but to retire her. We desperately need a wheelchair van to access our community activities to pick up, drop off from home and access our community activities which benefit us both health wise and socially (hydrotherapy, gymnastics, music, medical appointments, library, bowling – just to name a few).

Without transport our service cannot continue

* After School Programme for school aged children with Special Needs who otherwise could not attend a mainstream setting.

Fun afternoons of activities such as games, Gymnastics, Dancing, Sensory, Movies, Wii, Art.

* School Holiday Programme for school aged children with Special Needs who otherwise could not attend a mainstream setting.

Fun activities tailored to their unique needs.

Trips to farms, beaches, movies, lighthouse, trains, parks. Visits from magicians, farmyard and bouncy castles.

Our team of Personal Assistants are passionate about the education and care of youth who have difficulties in family and community participation. Our ratios for care are high to reflect the needs of our clients.

We would love your support in helping us to engage our youth in further community activities. Any donations received will be solely used for enhancing our scope of activities.

Many thanks
