  • A message of gratitude from Kali

      23 June 2023

    From Kali:

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness and generosity.

Your response and comments exceeded what I imagined and brought me to tears.

The financial support provides me with a sense of relief and makes life a little bit easier for Max and me.

The love and sense of connection I've felt from everyone was overwhelming and truely lifted me up.

This week, I finished the chemoradiation, the last of any treatment at this stage. I am back at home in Whangārei, NZ with my son Max. It is so nice to be home. Last night at bedtime, Max told me he is happy I am home and that I do not have to go to Auckland anymore. Amazing.

Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH, words really can't express the depth of my gratitude and feeling of connection to you all.  Love, Kali.

  • Response and update from Kali

Kali has said she's felt amazed, speechless, overwhelmed, and deeply touched by the outpouring of love and generosity from near and far. Kali only has two more sessions of radiotherapy before she is reunited with her son Max for recovery at home. She said she is very fatigued and this will get worse over the next few days.
