Karaka Trail Dual use MTB/Hiking upgrade

  • Weather delays have brought us more time to fundraise

    Our trail building contractor has been experiencing some really bad weather for the last few months that has caused them many delays. The 1st delays were on the last job prior to ours delaying their start on our project. Once they got into our project, the weather has just continued to rain meaning there have been many days off site. While this is disappointing from a trail progress point of view, the silver lining is that we now have more time to continue our fundraising campaign allowing our givealittle page to be re-opened and there for further donations to be processed.

  • Fundraising off to a good start!

    Our final push on the fundraising drive is well underway with some very generous donations received so far. We still have a way to go with not a lot of time left so we're hoping there are plenty more out there who are keen to see this trail opened for MTB's through to the red cliffs and keen to make a donation. This trail is going to be such a fantastic addition to our local communitys outdoor adventure resources, there for everyone to use. We have no doubt it will bring trail riders into our town to explore our hills.
