Santa Sleighed by Council fees
Money needed to pay for traffic plan to ensure the safety of families enjoying Christmas festivities.

We are a neighbourhood group who as well as decorating our houses with lights have Free sleigh rides for kiddies and a free musical light-show.
This year as well as having to spend thousands on a Resource Consent there is a requirement to spend $5,500 on a traffic management plan.
This plan involves signage, implementing one-way road systems, resident only streets and road closures under the direction of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor during the expected peak traffic flows between the 1st and 23rd of December.
Free parking will be provided at the NZ Bloodstock centre during the last week.
Maori wardens will also be onsite to help and advise.
The overall aim is to make a safer environment for children and families to enjoy themselves :)

All funds donated will be used exclusively for the Traffic Management Costs.
