Help my family get to Okinawa to train with my karate grandmaster.
Papakura, Auckland
Hi, my name is Caleb, and I’m reaching out for your support to help my family and me travel to Okinawa, Japan – the birthplace of karate – for a life-changing training opportunity with my grandmaster.
For years, karate has been more than just a sport for me – it’s been a way of life. It’s taught me discipline, respect, focus, and has helped me grow both physically and mentally. Now, I’ve been given an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: to travel with my family to train in Okinawa under my grandmaster, who has dedicated his entire life to preserving and teaching traditional Okinawan karate.
This trip isn’t just about training – it’s about connecting with the roots of the martial art I love so much. It’s a rare chance to deepen our knowledge, experience authentic Okinawan culture, and bring those lessons back to share with our students and community here in New Zealand.
However, getting to Japan with my family is expensive. Flights, accommodation, food, and training fees all add up quickly. That’s why I’ve created this Givealittle page – to ask for your help in making this dream a reality.
We’re doing everything we can to raise funds ourselves, but we can’t do it alone. With your help, we can take this incredible step in our karate journey together – as a family – and honour the traditions that have shaped us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us. Oss!
The money will be spent on flights, accommodation, food, and training fees.
Thank you Cody
