  • Tournament Update

      15 November 2016

    I competed in the Primary/Intermediate Tournament in Auckland on Sunday 13th November. I competed in the Year 5/6 group.

    I competed in Development Kata against 16 other kids and came away with a Bronze medal.

    I then competed in the Premier Kumite (fighting) against 6 other kids and came away with a Silver medal.

    I am very proud of this achievement as I have never gained a win when competing in Auckland and I have finally managed to get there.

  • Karate Progress

      7 November 2016

    About a month ago I had a grading at my club, I passed and moved up another belt to green with a white stripe (4th mon). Very happy with my efforts.

    I have a tournament on Sunday 13th November in Auckland (Primary/Intermediate), this will be my first time competing at the premier level so hopefully I do well. This is the last tournament for this year.
