Hello, my name is Harley and I am 9 years old. I am trying to raise money to get to Australia to compete in an International Karate Tournament in Brisbane and Sydney in April 2017.
I have been doing karate since I was 6 years old and am now on a green/white belt (4th mon). One of my goals is to get my black belt by the age of 13.
I put in a lot of time and effort, training up to six times a week during the tournament season. 2016 was my second year competing in tournaments and I competed at the NZ Wellington Nationals in July coming home with a silver medal. In 2018 I am aiming to get into the NZ Karate Team to compete in the Oceania World Champs being held in New Zealand that year.
Please help me to achieve my goals by donating to help me get to Australia to compete.

Tournament Update 15 November 2016
I competed in the Primary/Intermediate Tournament in Auckland on Sunday 13th November. I competed in the Year 5/6 group.
I competed in Development Kata against 16 other kids and came away with a Bronze medal.
I then competed in the Premier Kumite (fighting) against 6 other kids and came away with a Silver medal.
I am very proud of this achievement as I have never gained a win when competing in Auckland and I have finally managed to get there.
