Kares Kai A Taste of Home

It's amazing what you can do with a little flour and a lot of heart. Firstly a mum that had a mission, 5 Children (tamafreakies) and limited means. What started off as a maybe, turned into a maybe people would like my fried bread? Escalated into maybe they want me to cook for their events? It hasn't been easy and trying to do or make something of yourself in the hospitality industry comes with challenges. Firstly time management, which I endured many a sleepless nights and early morning wakes to ensure what ever I put out is what I would like to eat. Good and not so good feed back.. all learning and in my opinion all is good feed back and has helped me grow and become more confident. Trained by myself as well as experienced chefs like my two Grandmother's, Mother, Aunties and other women who inspire me, I want to join the ranks. I offer a simple taste of home, solid home cooked kai the way our nans and mums done, to bring that nostslgic feeling back, that Taste of Home.
