Most of you will know our cousin Karly Leef. Most of you will also know that she is having a rough time in her 21st year battling with her eyesight, on top of dealing with her severe eczema.
Keratoconus is an eye condition that effects 1 in 500 people and is no easy thing to live with. Blurred vision, eye irritation, can lead to depression, anxiety and everything else that comes with a traumatic experience such as this.
We are asking for koha on her behalf, to go towards gas for all the Whangarei trips she needs to take every week. Sometimes 3 trips a week. Also for Koha to help her pay for any extra costs.
Yes Winz and ACC have been contacted, but as we all know that in itself can take a long time just to get a reply. And even then it's never enough.
We are not asking to buy a lavish lifestyle for her, but just for some comfort for her and her family to get through this uncertain time to help ease the load.
Karly and her Mum are always giving to other people out of the kindness of their hearts and I know people will not hesitate to do the same.
