This page has been created to raise funds to allow both Helen and Eddie to concentrate on Kasen's care without the added financial pressure.
Wellington
Kasen is a brave and resilient 15-year-old facing an incredibly tough journey with courage and determination. He has been diagnosed with a rare stage 4 cancer called synovial sarcoma and is undergoing ongoing treatment, which requires regular travel back and forth to Christchurch.
Throughout this time, Kasen has been surrounded by unwavering love and support from his devoted parents, Helen and Eddie, along with their partners Lee and Renee who have put everything else on hold to be by his side. While his current treatment is ongoing, specialists are actively exploring potential overseas treatment options, leaving no stone unturned and doing everything possible to give Kasen the very best chance moving forward.
The frequent travel, time away from home, hospital appointments, and emotional toll of a serious diagnosis has placed significant strain on the family, but they continue to face each challenge together with strength and hope.
This page has been created to help ease the financial pressure, allowing Helen and Eddie to focus on what matters most, supporting Kasen through his treatment and pursuing every possible option for his care. Any contribution, big or small, will help with travel, accommodation, daily living costs, medical-related expenses, and the many unexpected costs that come with long-term and complex treatment.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for standing alongside Kasen and his family as they continue this journey with hope and determination. 💙
This page has been set up by myself (Sarah) and Aleisha. Our children have grown up with Kasen since they were 5 years old and through this Helen has become one of our closest friends.
This Givealittle page has been created to help ease the financial pressure, allowing Helen and Eddie to focus on what matters most — supporting Kasen through his treatment and managing essential living costs.
