    Words from the woman herself,

    One month tomorrow and guess who made it home to her boys!! I may not look so happy but the nerves will hopefully heal soon and I'll be smiling along side my boys soon. Thank you to everyone who has supported the boys and I through this horrible journey, because of you we have made it. We actually have no words at how amazing our community is. So much food and love, visits, helping with the boys, cuddles and something as simple as a little message has been what's kept us getting through.

    Time for me to rest up and let the healing happen....with lots of clinic trips to Dunedin (apparently the way of travel now is by wheels not flying)

  • Another surgery

    Kats surgery didnt go to plan last week so she's been in Christchurch for another week and she is having the surgery again today ,fingers crossed it all goes well and we can get her back down here very soon.

    Shes had a few wee walks around the ward which is absolutely amazing and even been outside for some fresh air. Thank you everyone all support is so appreciated

  • Out of ICU

    KATS out of the intensive care unit now which is absolutely amazing !!In a short summary.. Kat - with glenn by her side got transferred yesterday by flying air doctor to chch hospital to the neurosurgery unit to under go a operation called a cerebral angiogram and embolization of left cortical cavernous fistula (brain stent to stop bleeding from artery going into brain) , which is going to be done today 26th Feb. She will return to Dunedin hospital and continue her recovery. Thank you to everyone who has donated they are so grateful and overwhelmed .
