As some may know, Matt Amiss, beloved husband of Kate Amiss, passed away on Saturday the 17th of January, competing in an Iron Man event in Mount Maunganui, here in New Zealand. It was incredibly unexpected and utterly devastating.
Matt leaves behind not only Kate, but two boys, Lachie and Taylor. With so many people wanting to have a way to support Kate and her family over this time, we decided to set this page up, as a way for those who wanted to contribute, to be able to do so.
Our intention is to offer the contributions made on this page directly to Kate and her boys, to be able to go and do something special together, something that brings a smile to their faces, and honors the love of life that Matt leaves as his legacy to them all.

Kate Amiss is part of our Corporate ANZ team, and our wider Flight Centre family.
Use of funds
All donations go toward daily living costs/needs, and potentially a holiday for Kate and her boys.

A quick update to say thank you very much to everyone who contributed here. The funds will be passed over to Kate shortly. She's incredibly thankful to everyone, in her words - "You are all so awesome, and this is support is very unexpected. I don't know how I will ever repay everyone for all their love and support". What you've done means so very much to her, and her boys. Kate's back at work and no doubt will say thank you to many of you personally when you next connect. Again, thanks for reminding all of us, especially Kate, what a powerful and connected community we can be, when our people need us.
