Update (Extending the Page)
22 June 2018Hi everyone, Joes family and my family would like to give you all an update on Kate and Ruby.
Ruby is doing well and is mostly stable- she has more than doubled her birth weight (as of this morning she is 1.140 kilos). Shes absolutely gorgeous and adored by us all 💜.
Kate is conscious and recovering slowly- unfortunately she has suffered a brain injury and it will be a long recovery for her. We're lucky enough to be able to communicate with yes/no questions while shes on a ventilator. Her heart is healing well and we're hopeful for a positive future.
Please keep both Kate and Ruby in your thoughts and prayers, they've both come so far but we still have a very long road ahead. 💜💙💜
