Katie’s Dream Life - on tour

I’ve been dancing for eight years, since I was two. I do jazz, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. I love dancing because I feel that I can express my feelings and emotions through it.

This year I am dancing at Space Studios which has four troupes, ProTeam, Outkasts, Nxtgen and Astra. Last year I auditioned and was accepted into Nxtgen and am one of the youngest in the team.

In August this year Nxtgen are performing In America at World Of Dance (www.worldofdance.com) representing New Zealand. We’ve trained for hundreds of hours and I love every minute.

At World of Dance I will learn from new choreographer’s and do long hours of training as well as performing of course. While in America we would like to also do some fun things like Disneyland.

I will be fundraising to help me get there. For example, selling some of my old dance wear and using some of the money that I earned on set at the M3gan movie. I’m so grateful for this opportunity.
