Kia Ora I have set this page up to help get donations for my sister to have eye surgery.

The total cost of this surgery is going to cost her $13,142.00. Unfortunately there’s no support out there to help her cover the cost of this.

Her surgery will replace her current lens with an artificial one. The lens they will be using are the highest possible prescription you can currently get in NZ and If her eyes worsen they unfortunately won’t be able to help her in the future. Even with the surgery she will still need to wear glasses to read. She needs Toric lenses

-Refractive lens exchange (RLE) replaces your eye's clear natural lens with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) to correct your focusing error and achieve sharper focus, reducing your need for reading glasses or bifocals/graduated lenses

Over the next few months my sister will be running raffles, fundraisers and workshops to help pay for her surgery. She is an amazing Mumma of two, a busy hard worker and an talented Artist. She helps so many family,friends, business’s in our community with donating art to all sorts of causes throughout tairawhiti.

This surgery is going to be life changing for her not only is it going to benefit her overall health and mental well-being. She can continue to pursue her passion in the Art Industry.
