Ōtepoti Hip-Hop Hustle needs your support to keep its Festival and Youth Workshops alive!
Dunedin, Otago
Kia ora, first of all thanks for stumbling along to our Give A Little page. We appreciate you considering donating to our group for all the epic events and workshops we create in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
A bit about us, Ōtepoti Hip-Hop Hustle (ŌHHH) started in 2018 as a tiny Dunedin Fringe Festival event, and was originally called “On The Fringes Of Society.” It has grown since then to become a major highlight in the Cultural/Music calendar for Dunedin. We are NZ’s (if not the world’s?!) southernmost Hip-Hop Festival, where we produce a full afternoon and evening of Audio and Visual Hip Hop Delight.
We aim to nurture the local hip hop scene first and foremost and also the other southern regions. Following this we look to support and engage with our Ōtautahi whānau and see what performers may be exciting audiences there. Finally, we aim to have at least a couple National and/or International acts in our line up to really make sure we provide a cool surprise.
ŌHHH has now expanded to running Youth Workshops in all the 4 Elements; Rapping/Emceeing, DJing/Turntablism, Breaking/HIp-Hop Dance, Writing/Graffiti Art. We are also running an extended program where the audience has more variety with Keynote Speaker Presentations, Artist Meet n Greet and Hip-Hop Market.

Ngā mihi - thank you for supporting us!
The funds we raise will be used to pay our Performers and Artists more than what we can currently afford. Simple as that! We are able to pay them a reasonable fee, but we think they deserve more!
