Vader was stolen on 20th June 2017, and was returned by an anonymous person for $1,000.00.
Auckland
On Monday 19 June Chris's house was broken into and any items of value were stolen. There is contents insurance to replace these items, and to cover most of the break in repairs.
On Tuesday 20 June, the family puppy was then stolen from the back yard.
After putting up posters, advertising everywhere possible, and spreading the word via Facebook, Vader was returned for a $1,000.00 reward. He has been vet checked and given booster shots, and is very very happy to be home.
We are so incredibly grateful to have him back - healthy and unharmed!
I would also like to thank all the friends, family and neighbours who helped in the search for Vader, all the people who shared the Facebook posts, all the vets in South Auckland, South Auckland Animal Control, NZ Police, SPCA, Pets on the Net, TradeMe, and Lost Pet Finders.
All your help and support is what brought Vader home - and it is so incredibly appreciated.
As a close family friend, I know how much the new puppy means to this family.
The cost of installing a new security system is a lot for anyone, let alone paying $1,000.00 to get your puppy back.
Funds raised will be used to upgrade the house alarm, re-do the window stays on all the windows, and install a CCTV system.
Any additional funds past this will be used to reimburse Chris for the $1,000.00 reward, the vet checks, and paid advertisements put up when Vader went missing.
