Hi Kent, I would love to take this opportunity to encourage you in your journey with VHL. My husband also had VHL and passed away 10 years ago when our daughters were only 11 and 13. So he was unable to be part of seeing them grow up, pass their drivers licences, walk his daughter down the isle and hold his granddaughter. Like you also our oldest has VHL and has had only had 2 operations in her teens for tumours on her spine. I feel for you and will pray you are able to reach the goal you desire to see your children through their milestones and for your son who also suffers. God bless you and your family .

Don't know you - but I understand what you're going through is horrible and no one should have to go through it.

There is an Integrative doctor in Hamilton - I would definitely recommend them...They treat the body as a whole, and are able to strengthen the immune system through the supplements they have (which can't be given out by normal gov funded doctors because the pharmaceutical companies can't patent them and therefore don't sell them). They also do vitamin C therapy to support your immune system while getting chemo etc...

Praying for your full healing and that you will walk your kids down the isle! (My dad who has been fighting cancer now for 6 years had a 7cm brain tumour found in June 2015 and he was given 3 weeks to live - but he walked me down the isle in Dec 2015... and is still here!)... God is good :) xo
