Fundraising for our 75yr old Dad Kereoma Harris aka Graham who suffers from dementia. To give him an EPIC, carefree, fun LIFE!
Bay of Plenty
Fundraising to help Dad live an EPIC life. Kereoma Harris aka Graham is 75yrs old, is battling dementia and we want to be able to love on him and give him the best care and life experiences available.
Dad served in the NZ Army including the Vietnam war. He has worked hard all his life. We are very proud of him. He has always been so strong, hard working. He has loved us and looked after us very well!
It has been difficult seeing him loose his precious memories, loose his confidence at times. He is still physically very strong and we are enjoying many laughs and fun stories which we can currently prompt him to remember.
This fundraiser is for all who want to contribute to his care. We want to buy him a guitar, music CDs, orthopedic shoes (when he needs them) clothes like thermals etc; and for any specialists he may need such as a podiatrist or optometrist.
We are also needing funds to help with any advocacy services such as legal fees to support his health and care needs.
We want to give him a comfortable, fun and carefree life and build as many happy memories as we can.
The beneficiary of this fundraiser is my Dad Kereoma Harris aka Graham Harris.
To buy Dad a guitar, music CDs, quality clothing, shoes and pay for any Specialist care treatment &/or equipment he may need as well as advocacy services such as legal fees to support his legal rights and health and care needs.
Our Dad Kereoma Harris 13 December 2020
Kia ora - we have purchased Dad's recliner chair and a beautiful guitar. He loves both of these. Some of you may or may not know Our Dad was moved from his safe home where he was settled and has been very ill. Ending up in hospital in another city. We have had to apply to the court to be able to visit him and even phone him. We've had a pre hearing and about to have the final hearing. There are some funds left. I have used them to buy tickets for travel to both for Kereoma's youngest who is at University fulltime in Auckland. I still have $190 left and will probably use this to help bring Dad back home. Once again thank you all so much for your support! With heartfelt gratefulness and love, TeAmorangi Nightingale
