Kia Kaha, Kim. We need your help to raise funds to support Kim on her medical journey until she gets back in shape.

Manawatu / Whanganui

Kia Morray Reyes or fondly called “Kim” by her family and friends, dreamt to be a successful Registered Nurse in NZ. She worked hard to be here and when she finally did, she gave her utmost service to her residents. She wants to be able to inspire her younger sister and to take care of her parents who are all back home in the Philippines. She is 26 years old, and the eldest daughter. She arrived here in New Zealand last December 2018 and has been working as a registered nurse in Levin. Over two weeks ago, she suddenly felt ill and started vomiting and her tummy became bloated with air and water to the extent that she could not mobilize properly and was in constant severe pain. She was rushed by her co-worker to the hospital on the 22nd of March 2019 and she’s been there since then.

It was only last Sunday, 31st of March 2019 when we received the news about Kim from our Fellow Prayer Group member who works in Palmerston North Hospital. We were informed that Kim was all by herself since she got in the hospital and started to feel depressed and lonely because of her condition. She is new in New Zealand with no immediate family to look after her. We paid her a visit and assured her of our prayers and support.

Last Monday, 1st of April 2019 Kim went through series of medical tests and procedures and at this stage we are still waiting for the results to identify the cause of her illness. Stomach pains, headaches and dizziness, nausea and vomiting keep occurring on random times of the day.

The visa of her parents is being processed for them to come over to be with Kim. However, they do not have the financial capability to purchase an airline ticket on their own.

We are knocking on your kind and generous hearts to share any monetary assistance to help fund the trip of our dear Kim’s parents and as well as to help Kim for she does not have any means to support herself until she gets back in shape.

With grateful and humble hearts, we thank you all so much.

God Bless You!
