  • Home away from home

      8 April 2019

Kim has been discharged from the hospital today at 3:00 PM. Many thanks to all the staff of Midcentral DHB. Special mention to all her care providers in ward 29.

She went home to Levin and will stay in the accomodation that her employers provided for her. A huge thanks to her employers for providing her a safe and secure accomodation.

Thank you to all her co-workers and friends in Levin for arranging everything for Kim's discharge.

At this point, we are waiting for her mum's passport and visa application so she can come and assist Kim through her recovery.

Kim has shown courage and determination to go past this challenge. We wish her a speedy recovery so she can get back on her feet.

May the Lord reward all her helpers' kindness with good health and more success.

  • Medical mystery

      8 April 2019

The medical team said Kim's case remains to be a medical mystery.

    She might be discharged today.

Praise the Lord! Thank you for all the support prayers and love.

She is not out of the woods yet and she still needs our prayers and support through her road to recovery.

Thank you very much to everybody who contributed their precious time, paid her a visit, offered financial help and cooked for her. To all those who contributed in their own special way, Kim and her family are truly grateful. Filipino spirit at its best.

  • One tube at a time

      7 April 2019

Due to the overflowing support, prayers and love we have shown Kim, her recovery is amazing.

Instead of sadness, she displayed a smile.

Instead of loneliness, she was inspired.

Instead of giving up, she is determined.

The medical team removed one tube at a time. First, they took her NGT out then after a day or two her urinary catheter and yesterday her central line was discontinued and removed.

She is determined to get better everyday. She is grateful with all the support, love and prayers.
