India has the highest rate of CHILD marriage in the world. ONE in THREE girls become PROSTITUTES, SERVANTS or child BRIDES just to survive.

What if these were OUR children? Not all of us can physically go, but we can all support through financial assistance and raising awareness. The smallest donation can make the biggest impact.

In September 2017, myself along with a team are going to India to volunteer at an organisation called Good News India (GNI). GNI have 30+ dream centers* across India and have rescued over 3000 children from poverty and human trafficking. They provide safety, food, shelter and education to every child they rescue.

*dream centers; these differ from orphanages as they endeavor to not only see the child survive but to thrive through breaking the cycle of poverty. The environment of a dream center nourishes children to hope for a greater future and provides them with the tools to do so.

What motivated me to go on this trip was the statistics around child marriage and sex trafficking. It made me think, what if these were my nieces or nephews? What would I do? The answer was simple, I would do what I could. So, when the opportunity came to go to India and support these kids, I had to go.

Use of funds

Your donation will go towards my expenses for volunteering in India. Also, the donation will be used to purchase any gifts, tools or souvenirs I take for the kids I will be working with.
